John Shirley has been a member since 2010.

After serving our country in the Marines, I spent most of my career in the DIY Industry starting out as a product rep. for 30+ manufacturers in a variety of lumber companies and hardware stores.  With my experience in construction products, I transitioned into an inventory controller and hardware buyer role for a lumber company in California.  Missing home, my wife and I moved back to Texas where I worked for The Container Store for several years in retail sales and later in the corporate office where I was involved in store fixturing and setup.  It was during this time I became a member.  It didn’t take long to realize I wanted to be more involved with Lifestyles Unlimited and when an opportunity came up for which my background was a fit, I became a part of the vendor team.  I am passionate about our members and our vendors; watching our members continue to build their wealth through real estate and seeing our vendors grow their businesses at the same time is very rewarding.
